Aheadon.com gathers public information such as but not limited to Internet
Protocol Addresses ("IP"), browser types ("Browser Types")
and referring URLs ("Referring URLs"). This information is
used for security and statistical purposes only. Information collected
on external pages (i.e. pages that do not contain the aheadon.com privacy
policy link to this document at the bottom) are subject to different
terms and conditions and is not sanctioned by this document.
IP Addresses
IP, or internet protocol, is among the basis of how the internet works.
Every time a client machine connects to a server, (i.e. aheadon.com)
the client's IP address is recorded. Recording of IP's is practiced
on almost all of today's websites for demographic and other statistical
purposes.
Referring URLs
Aheadon.com also records the URL referrals. This is the URL that the
client machine was previously at. Its purpose is to see who (i.e. Other
websites) is linking and directing traffic toward aheadon.com
Browser Types
Among the other information recorded automatically by our computer
systems is browser type. A browser type is the version, or brand of
browser used to view pages on aheadon.com. No personal information (i.e.
passwords, numbers) can be recorded and subsequently is not. Recording
of browser types is an active tool for the aheadon.com web-team to ensure
cross-platform compatibility.
